With the objective of building competency in
students to effectively undertake entry-level managerial jobs in organization,
college has started offering a professional course Bachelor of Business
Administration (BBA) from the academic year 2006-07.

DURATION
OF THE PROGRAMME
Three year full time programme.
Each year will consist of three terms with an additional summer internship of
six weeks in the first and second year. Each term will be of approximately 3
months duration inclusive of vacation.

ADMISSION
AND ELLIGIBILITY
A candidate who has passed XII standard
examination is eligible for admission to BBA. Admission to a particular batch
will be made based on an admission test, UGAT conducted by AIMA (All India
Management Association) along with XII standard score.
Admission to BBA will be based on Screening by
admission committee constituted by the college and the score of entrance
examination, namely, Undergraduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) with 100% weightage. UGAT is conducted by the All India Management
Association (AIMA), New Delhi, every year in the months of May and December.
UGAT is a prerequisite for admission to the BBA course of Goa University. The
application forms for UGAT will be available at the college in the month of
April. Application forms can also be obtained, by sending DD for Rs.500/- drawn
in favour of AIMS payable at NEW DELHI, which can be
sent on the following address.

The UGAT is conducted in Goa at Rosary College Navelim.
NUMBER OF SEATS:
Every year, 45 students will be admitted for the
course.
Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC will be as
per the government rules.
NRI/Foreign students – 10% of the General seats
(i.e.3 seats) will be for foreign/NRI students. These seats will be in addition
to 45 seats as mentioned above.

ADMISSION
OF STUDENTS FOR FYBBA CLASS
1.
Students
shall present himself with an application in the prescribed form duly filled
and signed by him, based on their merit and performance in Common Entrance Test
(UGAT) along with following documents.
a.
H.S.S.C.
Mark list in original along with three attested copies of it.
b.
School
Leaving Certificate in original.
c.
Three
copies of recent Passport size photographs.
2.
No
admission shall be regarded as duly granted unless it is granted by the
Principal/Director and the necessary fees have been received by the college
along with required documents.
3.
All
admissions are valid only for the academic year and are required to be renewed
by application in the prescribed form for every subsequent year to continue
studies in the college.
4.
Students
belonging to Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribes/OBC should furnish the caste and
income certificates from the Competent Authority, while submitting the
admission forms.
5.
All
the admission are provisional until all the necessary certificates such as the
Final Eligibility Certificate, HSSC Passing Certificate, Transfer Certificate
etc. are submitted to the college.
6.
The
documents such as Leaving Certificate, Migration Certificate are not returned,
if the admission to the course is confirmed, though the students leave the
college before completion of the course.
Admission will be closed
as soon as the number of the seats allotted by the University to the college
are filled.
