About Dnyanprassarak Mandal's College

“Dnyanprassarak Mandal”, Mapusa, a charitable institution founded in 1908, has been devoted to the cause of knowledge and education. The Vaishya Mandal, a parent body, has been providing the necessary financial support to realize its endeavour of providing access to quality education to the youth of the State. It manages several educational institutions right from Pre-primary to Post-Graduation.

The D.M.’s V.N.S. Bandekar College of Commerce was established in 1974 formerly affiliated to the University of Bombay, is presently affiliated to the Goa University and is recognised by UGC introduced degree courses in Science and Arts from June, 1996 From the academic year 2006-07, the College started the self –financed Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Applications, and the Master of Commerce courses. The College has been accredited by NAAC with B+ Grade in March 2004. The PG Programme of Master in Pharmaceutical Chemistry is also on the anvil. It also runs various skill-based courses from time to time such as Diploma in Automation, Pharmaceautical analysis, glass-painting etc.
